senotec® ECTFE

Ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene

Two white cylindrical rods and two rectangular sheets made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) on a white background.

senotec® ECTFE has exceptional impact resistance between -40°C and +150°C. Some of its outstanding product properties are attributed to its very smooth surface, which distinguishes senotec® ECTFE from other fluoroplastics. As senotec® ECTFE is very pure, it can be used in ultrapure water and process chemicals in the semiconductor industry. Its barrier properties against oxygen, carbon dioxide, chlorine gas and hydrochloric acids are 10 to 100 times better than those of PTFE, which enables many applications in chemistry.
