ZELLAMID® 1000 is a high-strength amorphous thermoplastic polymer that can be used at continuous operating temperatures of up to 170°C.

It is flame-retardant (UL94:V-0) and produces low smoke emissions..

It is also very well suited for high-stress applications at higher temperatures. The product offers first-class electrical insulation values that remain stable over a wide temperature and frequency range. It is resistant to many chemicals and also to hydrolysis, although its resistance also depends on the stress conditions.


ZELLAMID® 1000 is well suited for repeated autoclave cycles, as required for frequent sterilisation in medical applications.
