ZELLAMID® 1400 PET is a semi-crystalline, thermoplastic polyester based on polyethylene terephthalate. Its low moisture absorption and low thermal expansion coefficient result in high dimensional stability for components with tight tolerances. A low coefficient of friction and very good abrasion resistance, combined with low deformation under continuous load, make this material particularly suitable for moving machine parts.
